The Cleveland Cavaliers came out strong in their first-round series opener against the Miami Heat, showing dominance from the start. Led by MVP candidate Donovan Mitchell and standout performance from Ty Jerome, the Cavs secured a convincing 121-100 victory. The sellout crowd at Rocket Arena was electric, rallying behind their team and chanting "Cavs in 4" as they took control of the game. With a strong offensive performance and solid defense, the Cavs proved why they are the No. 1 seed in the East. Coach Kenny Atkinson's emphasis on physicality and staying true to their identity paid off, as they maintained a comfortable lead throughout the game. As they look ahead to Game 2, the Cavs will aim to continue their strong play and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. With the support of their passionate fans, they have their sights set on a deep postseason run and ultimately, a shot at the championship in June.
