Presidents’ Day falls on Monday, Feb. 17, this year. Some mail delivery services are not available and offices will be closed to observe the holiday. This follows a tradition with several other federal and state offices and services. However, others are operating on their own schedule on the federal holiday.

Is the post office open on Presidents’ Day 2025?
If you were planning to visit the post office, you’ll have to plan to stop by after Monday. United States Postal Service offices are closed today, according to its website. However, they will reopen during regular business hours tomorrow on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Also, those who need to mail a letter or package will have to send it out after the holiday. There is no regular mail delivery on Presidents’ Day. Only Priority Mail Express is available today.
Does Amazon, FedEx and UPS deliver on Presidents’ Day 2025?
An alternative is to stop by either FedEx or UPS for mailing letter or packages. FedEx and UPS are delivering mail today. FedEx 1 is on a modified service schedule. UPS is operating and stores will be open, although UPS SurePost and UPS Mail Innovations deliveries will be delayed by one additional business day due to the federal (USPS) holiday. Amazon delivery services will run as scheduled, and there are no expected delays related to the Presidents' Day holiday.
