The Mets had a dramatic 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Citi Field, with Francisco Lindor hitting a game-winning home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Juan Soto and Mark Vientos also contributed key hits to help the Mets come back from behind. Despite some missed opportunities earlier in the game, the Mets were able to pull out the win thanks to their offense and solid relief pitching from Max Kranick and Ryne Stanek. David Peterson had a decent start, striking out nine batters in 5 1/3 innings. It was an exciting game for Mets fans, and the team showed resilience in securing the victory.
