The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $195 million with a cash option of $90 million.
The winning numbers were: 60, 21, 49, 28 and 6. The Powerball drawn was 20 with a Power Play of 2x.
No one across the country hit Monday’s $183 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, two tickets worth $50,000 each were purchased for Monday’s drawing. They were sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club on Marketplace Boulevard in Hamilton, Mercer County and Tobacco King on Route 516 in Old Bridge, Middlesex County, lottery officials said.
Each matched four numbers plus the Powerball. Monday’s winning numbers were: 4, 44, 47, 52 and 57. The Powerball drawn was 9 with a Power Play of 4x.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play jackpot on Monday. Those winning numbers were: 17, 18, 49, 56 and 59. The Double Play number drawn was 8.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball and win at least $1 million. The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $165 million with a cash option of $75.1 million.
