Wind advisory issued by National Weather Service for multiple New Jersey counties with gusts up to 50 mph. Caution advised for driving and securing objects.

A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 2:41 a.m. in effect until 6 p.m. for Sussex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Ocean, Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties.

The weather service comments, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," comments the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
