It is clear that the Trump administration is engaging in illegal and unconstitutional behavior, and Democrats must focus their efforts on holding Republicans in Congress accountable for allowing this to continue. It is the duty of all members of Congress, regardless of party affiliation, to uphold the Constitution and defend the rule of law. If Republicans are not willing to take action against a president who is breaking the law, they must be publicly called out and shamed for their inaction. It is time for members of Congress to put country above party and address the serious misconduct of the president.
