It seems that a deal has been struck between the governments of Venezuela and the United States regarding the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants. President Maduro announced that flights would resume to bring back migrants from the U.S., with the first flight scheduled for Sunday. The Venezuelan National Assembly President, Jorge Rodriguez, confirmed the agreement and stated that deportation flights would be accepted into Venezuela. Maduro criticized President Trump's deportation efforts, particularly the recent deportation of suspected gang members to El Salvador. He placed blame on El Salvador's President, Nayib Bukele, for not handling the situation properly and urged him to send the migrants back to Venezuela. Rodriguez also condemned Trump's deportations and emphasized that migrating is not a crime. He vowed to ensure the safe return of Venezuelan migrants and to rescue any kidnapped individuals in El Salvador. It seems that both governments are working towards a solution to address the issue of Venezuelan migrants and ensure their well-being.
