The Vancouver Whitecaps pulled off a stunning upset against Inter Miami in the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinal, advancing to the final with a 5-1 aggregate score. Brian White, Pedro Vite, and Sebastian Berhalter were the heroes for Vancouver, scoring the goals that sealed the victory. Despite a goal from Jordi Alba for Miami, the team was unable to overcome the deficit and suffered their third straight loss under Lionel Messi's leadership. Vancouver will now face either Cruz Azul or Tigres UNAL in the final on June 1.
