Actor Varun Kulkarni, known for his role in Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 movie Dunki, is currently hospitalized due to severe kidney ailments. He is undergoing dialysis at least twice a week to manage his condition.
Recently, Varun Kulkarni's friend, Roshan Shetty, shared an update on his health on Instagram. Shetty mentioned that Kulkarni is facing financial difficulties due to the high cost of his treatment and urged people to come forward and support him during this challenging time.

Shetty said, "Varun is not only a brilliant artist but also a kind and selfless human being. He has faced hardships from a young age and has pursued his passion for theatre against all odds. However, the financial burden of his medical treatment is overwhelming, and he needs our help now more than ever."
To assist Varun Kulkarni, Shetty and his friends have set up a fundraising campaign. Contributions can be made directly to Varun or through a Ketto link provided for those who wish to donate. Any amount, no matter how small, can make a significant impact and help Varun get back on his feet.
Varun Kulkarni appeared in a small role in Dunki, a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The movie also featured Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in prominent roles. Apart from Dunki, Varun has showcased his talent in popular shows like Scam 1992 and The Family Man.
