The dramatic visuals recorded on a CCTV camera showed the vehicle accidentally reversing and hitting the ground after a portion of the parking space collapsed. The incident was reported from Viman Nagar in Pune, Maharashtra. On Sunday morning, a car fell from the 2nd-floor parking lot of the Shubh Gateway Apartment in Pune, resulting in panic among those who witnessed it.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the car had reportedly forgotten to engage the handbrake before getting out of the vehicle. As a result, the car started rolling backward and eventually crashed through the railing of the parking lot, plunging to the ground below.
Local authorities and emergency services were immediately alerted, and the driver of the car was rescued from the vehicle with minor injuries. Fortunately, there were no pedestrians in the vicinity at the time of the incident, avoiding any casualties.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of following safety protocols while operating a vehicle, especially in elevated areas such as parking lots. Authorities have urged drivers to always double-check that their handbrakes are engaged before exiting their vehicles to prevent similar accidents in the future.
