Earlier reports suggested that he and his companion were officially removed from the annual music event due to being uninvited, even though Kanye was nominated for Best Rap Song.
However, an anonymous source claimed that West was indeed an invited guest because of his nomination in the Best Rap Song category for his work on "Carnival." The source further mentioned that the rapper and Censori left the event without needing to be escorted out.
The rapper, famous for hits like "Vultures," had hoped to secure his 25th gold-plated gramophone for collaborating with Ty Dolla $ign on the song "Carnival." However, if he wins, it seems West won't be present to accept the award.
