The 38-year-old pop superstar, Lady Gaga, surprised fans by debuting the music video for her latest single, "Abracadabra," during a commercial break at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The black, white, and red-themed video featured Gaga and 40 backup dancers in energetic dance numbers symbolizing a battle between light and dark.
Shortly after the commercial aired, Gaga took to her social media to announce the release of the dance track and music video. "Abracadabra" is part of Gaga's upcoming seventh album, Mayhem, set to be released on March 7. The album will also include her recent singles "Disease" and "Die with a Smile," which won best pop duo/group performance at the Grammys.
In a press release, Gaga expressed her thoughts on the creative process behind Mayhem, likening it to reassembling a shattered mirror to create something beautiful and whole in a new way. She promised a diverse range of genres and styles on the album, ending with a theme of love.
