Season 2 of The Last Of Us has finally hit its stride with Episode 4. Spoilers ahead.

Season 2 of The Last Of Us has been a rollercoaster ride so far, with some highs and lows, but it seems to have found its footing in the fourth episode. The casting choices have been a point of contention for many viewers, especially Bella Ramsey's portrayal of Ellie. However, it's becoming clear that the odd character choices were intentional to set up Ellie's character arc following Joel's death.

The standout moment in this episode is when Ellie finds a guitar in a music shop and plays Take On Me by a-ha. The emotional scene, coupled with Dina's reaction, captures the essence of the game's character moments. The show balances horror with beauty, providing viewers with a much-needed breather from the intense storyline.

One of the highlights of this season is the increased focus on the infected and the intense encounters our heroes face. The Battle Of Jackson and the Seattle subway scene showcase the show's ability to deliver thrilling action sequences. The revelation of Dina's pregnancy adds another layer of complexity to the story, leading to a tense moment between Ellie and Dina.

As the war in Seattle escalates between the Wolves and the Scars, the factions become a central point of conflict. While the Wolves are portrayed realistically, the Scars come off as cartoonish and out of place in the gritty world of The Last Of Us. The search for Abby continues to drive the narrative, leaving viewers wondering about her role in the upcoming episodes.

Despite its flaws, Episode 4 delivers a strong performance, deepening the chemistry between the main characters and providing thrilling zombie action. The musical moment stands out as a fan favorite, hinting at more iconic scenes from the game to come in future episodes.
