Model and influencer Valeria Marquez has tragically passed away at the young age of 23 while livestreaming from her beauty salon in Jalisco, Mexico.

According to a report from the local attorney general's office, the incident took place around 6:30pm at her Blossom Beauty Lounge. Initial investigations suggest that a man entered the establishment and fatally shot her.

The fatal moment was captured on camera as Marquez was actively live streaming on TikTok for her followers. In the video that has circulated on various platforms, she can be seen reacting to the blow before collapsing.

Officials in Jalisco released a preliminary report stating that authorities responded to 911 calls and confirmed her death on-site. Paramedics verified that she had no vital signs.

Police officers and investigators are currently working on identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for the tragic incident. The Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences has gathered evidence, and Marquez's body has been transported for an autopsy and official identification by her family.

Her final social media posts included selfies and professional modeling photos. Just before the news of her passing broke, she had shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories. With a substantial following of 149,000 on Instagram and over 114,000 on TikTok, many of her fans expressed their grief in the comments.
