Swift Allegedly Ignores Calls and Texts from Former Bestie
The Grammy winner, Taylor Swift, 35, is reportedly "done" with Blake Lively after being dragged into the actress' ongoing legal feud with Justin Baldoni. A source told the Daily Mail on Tuesday, June 3, that Swift is "ignoring" all calls, texts, and emails from Lively.
Lively's attempts to contact Swift have reportedly gone unanswered, with the source revealing that Lively has been reaching out with texts, voicemails, and emails to mend their friendship but to no avail.
The insider claimed that Swift feels "betrayed" and "exploited" by Lively, leading her to cut ties with her former bestie of ten years. Despite Lively's efforts to reconcile, Swift allegedly remains firm in her decision to distance herself from the actress.
Swift allegedly paused her friendship with Lively in May after being subpoenaed as a witness by Baldoni's legal team. However, the subpoena was dropped on May 22 after Swift's representative denied her involvement in the legal drama.
Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Lively and Reynolds mentioned Swift, accusing Lively of referring to Swift and Reynolds as her "dragons" and herself as Khaleesi from "Game of Thrones" in an alleged text conversation. The lawsuit also alleged Swift's presence in a pivotal meeting about rewriting a scene in "It Ends With Us."
In response to the allegations, Lively's legal team denied the accusations and sought to abandon the infliction of emotional distress claims against Baldoni after he requested her medical records.
The legal trial between Lively and Baldoni is set for March 2026, as Judge Liman must decide on the disclosure of Lively's mental health information sought by the opposing counsel.
