Nearly 33 years after forming, Wu-Tang Clan have announced the start of their final tour. Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber takes place this summer at arenas and amphitheaters across North America. Run the Jewels will open all of the shows. Check out Wu-Tang Clan’s full list of tour dates below.
Pitchfork has asked the group’s representatives which band members are playing the shows, and for more information on whether Wu-Tang Clan is breaking up or just stopping touring.
Fresh off their completion of the first-ever hip-hop residency in Las Vegas, RZA and his bandmates will kick off the Final Chamber Tour on June 6, in Baltimore, Maryland. Wu-Tang Clan plan on stopping in major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, and Toronto, before concluding this run on July 18 in Philadelphia.
“This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture,” RZA said in a statement. “Most importantly, to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years. On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience, and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it off we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”
