Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Spotted at Mumbai Airport Ahead of IPL 2025 Match
A few days back, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the revised schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. The tournament was halted for a week due to the tensions at the India-Pakistan border.
The IPL 2025 remaining matches will now be played across six venues, with the action set to resume on May 17. Before the resumption of the season, former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, who recently announced his retirement from Test cricket, was spotted at the Mumbai Airport with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
The couple was heading to Bengaluru for the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2025 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. A video of their departure has since gone viral on social media, capturing the attention of fans worldwide.
However, there is some uncertainty looming over the availability of overseas cricketers for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season. Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood is unlikely to return to India for the tournament's resumption, raising questions about the participation of other international players.
