The Ravens tight end, Mark Andrews, found himself at the center of the team's AFC divisional round loss to the Bills on Sunday after a critical drop on a late two-point conversion. However, in a heartwarming display of support, Bills fans have come together to raise over $38,000 for Andrews' charity, Breakthrough T1D.

Breakthrough T1D is dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and providing assistance to those affected by the disease. Andrews, who himself has Type 1 Diabetes, has been a vocal supporter of the charity.

Following the game, Andrews faced significant backlash, including death threats and negative comments. In response, Bills fan Nicholas Howard organized a GoFundMe campaign to support Andrews' charity.

The initial goal of the fundraiser was set at $5,000, but the overwhelming generosity of Bills Mafia quickly surpassed that target.

The Ravens organization and Andrews expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support from the Buffalo Bills community. In a statement to ESPN, Breakthrough T1D thanked all those who donated, emphasizing the impact of their contributions on diabetes research and advocacy.

Despite the tough loss and the scrutiny he faced, Andrews has chosen to remain silent on the dropped catch. The emotional moment was captured on HBO's "Hard Knocks: In Season With the AFC North," showcasing the raw emotion and disappointment Andrews experienced.

Teammate Lamar Jackson defended Andrews, emphasizing that the game's outcome was a collective effort and not solely the tight end's fault. Jackson highlighted Andrews' contributions throughout the season and expressed solidarity with his teammate during this challenging time.
