A month after the tragic death of Tiger Bech in the New Orleans terror attack, his brother Jack Bech made history at the Senior Bowl. The TCU wide receiver caught the game-winning touchdown as time expired and was named the MVP of the game.
Jack expressed his gratitude after the game, saying, "My brother has some wings on me. He gave them to me, and he let that all take place. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tiger, nothing else but them. They're the reason I did what I did today. I attribute it all to them."
Tiger, a former college football player at Princeton, was tragically killed on New Year's Day. He was known for his skills as an All-Ivy League kick returner during his time at Princeton and had a promising career in finance after graduation.
Reflecting on his performance at the Senior Bowl, Jack shared, "It's been surreal just to be able to come and be in this game. But if I had the option if I came here, had the worst week ever, ruin my draft stock, but that means I could hug my brother right now, I would take that."
Jack emphasized the impact his brother had on his life, stating, "His wings were on my side. Him and Jesus Christ are the reasons I was able to do all of this. My whole goal in the rest of my life is to live his legacy on."
Despite his success at the Senior Bowl, Jack expressed that he would trade it all for a chance to hug his brother once more. He acknowledged that his brother was his role model and the person he aspired to be.
Jack's performance at the Senior Bowl not only showcased his talent but also paid tribute to his brother's memory. As he continues his football career, he carries the legacy of Tiger Bech with him.
