Caitlin Clark isn’t afraid to poke some fun at her Indiana Fever teammates. After Sophie Cunningham shared an Instagram post that featured images of her and Lexie Hull during a photoshoot in their official team jerseys, Clark, 23, made a playful dig in the comments section.
“Little less tanning. A little more bball ladies,” she commented. In the photos shared, Cunningham, 28, could be seen holding a basketball as she posed next to Hull, 25. The two resembled each other with their long blonde tresses and matching uniforms.
Cunningham even made note of their similarities, captioning the post, “Seeing double.” Hull added in the comments section, "Mhmmmm 😍😍😍.”
Getting Ready for the Season
Cunningham, Clark, and Hull are gearing up for the start of the 2025 WNBA season, set to begin later this month. Cunningham joined the Indiana Fever this season after playing for the Phoenix Suns, while Hull was picked up by the Indiana Fever during the 2022 WNBA draft.
Clark, who set numerous records while playing for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes before being drafted by the Indiana Fever in 2024, is preparing for her second season with the team. She has been focused on getting stronger during the offseason to play her best.
Ahead of the season, Clark mentioned that she worked consistently with the team's strength and conditioning coach to improve her strength. She emphasized the importance of consistency and feels much stronger going into the new season.
Returning to the Indiana Fever locker room, Clark expressed that the team's vibes are positive and supportive. Despite the competitive nature of the sport, the team is enjoying the camaraderie and having fun together.
