The first of a busy slate of English Premier League matches on Saturday features two clubs next to each other in the bottom half of the league table as Manchester United visits Everton.
It has not been a good season by any stretch for Manchester United. Under the guidance of manager Ruben Amorim, the team has just simply not played well on a consistent basis, leading to a series of poor results. The Red Devils have yet to score a goal in league play this month, having been clean-sheeted by Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur and have dropped three of their past four matches.
On the other side, Everton has been playing better than they have been in recent years. The Toffees are not struggling to stay out of the relegation conversation thanks to a series of good results as of late. The club has gone unbeaten in five straight matches, winning four of its last five during this stretch.
Everton is 14th in the Premier League table, 13 points back of sixth place, while Manchester United is one point behind the Toffees in 15th.
