A tragic road accident occurred in Ferozepur on Friday when a pick-up van collided with a canter truck, resulting in the death of eight individuals and leaving several others injured. The incident took place near Golu ka Mour village in Guruharsahai sub-division.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Satnam Singh, stated that upon receiving the report, teams from the Sadak Suraksha Force (SSF) immediately responded to the scene and initiated the rescue operation. The injured were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals in Guruharsahai and Jalalabad, with some critically injured individuals being referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in Faridkot.
