Pope John girls basketball dominates Del Val after 1st quarter, advances to H/W/S final

Led by standout performances from seniors Katie Rice and Maggie Mullen, Pope John dominated from start to finish. Rice poured in 20 points, while Mullen added 15 points and played stifling defense to help secure the win. The Lions' depth and athleticism overwhelmed Delaware Valley, as they forced turnovers and converted them into easy baskets in transition. By halftime, Pope John had built a comfortable lead and never looked back. With the victory, Pope John advanced to the H/W/S final, where they will face the winner of the other semifinal matchup. The Lions will look to defend their title and continue their impressive season with a chance to bring home another championship.
