Update on the Health of the "Bang Bang" Singer
Popular singer Jessie J has revealed that she is currently battling breast cancer. The 37-year-old shared that she received the diagnosis over two months ago and has been undergoing tests throughout the year.
"I was diagnosed with early breast cancer," Jessie said in an Instagram video posted on June 3. Despite the challenges, she remains positive, stating, "Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early.'"
Jessie J plans to undergo surgery after her performance at the Summertime Ball 2025 concert in London on June 15. She humorously remarked, "It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive [redacted by user] and more music."
While initially hesitant to share her diagnosis publicly, Jessie explained her decision, saying, "I do not talk about it enough. I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I'm an open book."
