Researchers analyze the relationship between screen time and well-being
A recent study conducted by experts in psychology and technology has shed light on the effects of excessive screen time on mental health. The findings, published in the Journal of Psychology, suggest that prolonged use of digital devices, such as smartphones and computers, can have detrimental consequences on individuals' well-being.
The study, which surveyed over 1,000 participants across different age groups, found a correlation between high screen time and increased feelings of anxiety and depression. Researchers also noted a decrease in overall life satisfaction among individuals who spent more than six hours a day on their devices.
