A recent study published in the Journal of Mental Health highlighted the positive impact of meditation on mental well-being. The study, conducted by a team of researchers at the University of Mindfulness, found that regular meditation practice can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
The study involved over 500 participants
Participants were divided into two groups: one group practiced meditation for 20 minutes daily, while the other group did not engage in any meditation activities. After six weeks, researchers found that the meditation group reported lower levels of stress and improved overall mood compared to the non-meditation group.
