Engineering solutions provider to set up 133 MW capacities in four districts

New Delhi, Jun 12 (PTI) - SEPC, a leading engineering solutions provider, announced on Thursday that it has successfully secured a Rs 650-crore order to establish solar capacities totaling 133 MW in Maharashtra. The company has been awarded a letter of award by Parmeshi Urja Ltd, Kolkata, for EPC solar power projects at 26 locations across four districts in Maharashtra.

The scope of work for this project includes the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of plant and equipment, along with civil and structural works. The 133 MW Solar Power Project will be implemented in the districts of Sambhaji Nagar, Dhule, Solapur, and Nanded as part of the PM-KUSUM Yojana, a central government scheme promoting solar energy for agricultural and rural use.

The project is expected to be completed within 12 to 18 months from the start date. With a total value of Rs 650 crore, SEPC reaffirms its commitment to providing turnkey solutions in power, water infrastructure, and process & metallurgy.
