New Delhi, May 13 (PTI)
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is scheduled to brief Parliament's Standing Committee on External Affairs on the current situation with Pakistan on May 19. The committee's chairman and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor informed PTI that Misri will provide an update on Monday regarding the recent developments.
The recent events were characterized by India's strikes on terror sites in Pakistan, followed by a period of intense military action between the two countries. Eventually, both nations agreed to cease hostilities.
Misri has been actively updating the committee on various foreign affairs issues, including updates on India's relations with neighboring countries such as Bangladesh and Canada.
