Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has accused Hamas of creating a “last-minute crisis” that is “delaying the completion of the ceasefire deal” with the Islamist militant group.
Israel has accused Hamas of backtracking on parts of the Gaza ceasefire deal which was announced on Wednesday, bringing an end to the 15-month-long war in Gaza.
“Hamas has reneged on parts of the agreement reached with the mediators and Israel in an effort to extort last-minute concessions”, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement, adding the situation created a “last minute crisis”.
