New Delhi: Karnataka minister Laxmi Hebbalkar and MLC Chennaraj Hattiholi escaped with minor injuries after their car rammed into a tree near Belagavi district on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred when the driver of the car swerved to avoid hitting a stray dog on the road at around 6 am, according to Mrunal Hebbalkar, the son of the minister, who spoke to news agency ANI. Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar sustained minor injuries on her back and face, while MLC Chennaraj Hattiholi suffered injuries to his head. Both individuals are currently receiving treatment, Mrunal added.
