Concerns Over Violence

According to Kejriwal, there have been multiple reports of AAP volunteers being attacked and harassed by political opponents in the region. He has expressed fears that such incidents could escalate and jeopardize the democratic process in the area.

"It is essential that independent election observers are deployed to monitor the situation and ensure that the elections are conducted fairly and without any incidents of violence or intimidation," Kejriwal wrote in his letter to the Election Commission.

Appeal for Action

Kejriwal has appealed to the Election Commission to take immediate action to address the concerns raised by the AAP. He has urged the Commission to ensure the safety of party volunteers and to maintain a peaceful election environment in the New Delhi Assembly area.

The Chief Minister has also called for strict action against those responsible for the attacks on AAP volunteers and has requested increased security measures to prevent any further incidents of violence.

Looking Ahead

As the election campaign in Delhi heats up, Kejriwal's letter to the Election Commission has brought attention to the issue of political violence and intimidation. The AAP is hopeful that the Commission will take necessary steps to address the concerns raised and ensure a free and fair election process in the New Delhi Assembly area.
