Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid heartfelt tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 128th birth anniversary, acknowledging his unparalleled contribution to India’s freedom movement.
Taking to social media, PM Modi wrote, “His contribution to India’s freedom movement is unparalleled. He epitomized courage and grit. His vision continues to motivate us as we work towards building the India he envisioned.”
In a special homage, Modi also participated in a virtual event commemorating Parakram Diwas, an annual observance in Netaji’s honor. The government has reiterated its commitment to preserving Netaji’s legacy, with initiatives such as the revamp of the INA Memorial and the renaming of Ross Island as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island.
Leaders across the political spectrum and citizens nationwide joined in remembering Netaji’s fearless leadership and unwavering patriotism.
