President Donald Trump made a surprising announcement at a pre-inaugural rally, stating that "TikTok is back" as he plans to sign an executive order granting the social media platform more time to comply with U.S. regulations.

Trump expressed his desire for the United States to have a 50% ownership stake in TikTok through a joint venture, although the specifics of this arrangement remain unclear. ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, has not yet confirmed their agreement to such terms.

Following a brief offline period due to new U.S. regulations, TikTok resumed its operations after Trump reassured that service providers would not face sanctions for hosting the app. The rally also featured discussions of upcoming executive orders and plans for Trump's return to office.

Notable figures at the rally included Jon Voight, Dana White, and performances by Kid Rock. Trump's sons, Don Jr. and Eric, as well as his adviser Stephen Miller, also addressed the crowd. Elon Musk, a prominent ally of Trump, highlighted the importance of making significant changes for America's future.

While Trump hinted at a message of "unity" for his upcoming inaugural address, the rally focused more on criticisms of the left and "woke culture." Speakers at the event attacked transgender rights, diversity initiatives, and critical race theory, reflecting Trump's ongoing campaign themes.

Despite the rally's contentious tone, it concluded with a surprising performance by the Village People singing "YMCA," a song that has become synonymous with Trump's campaign. Trump himself joined in the dance, marking a lighthearted conclusion to the event.
